I am happy to announce that our small and passionate seed called @contributeagadget received its first recognition.
Contribute A Gadget was recognized for its work on the 26th of March 2022 by @womens_league_foundation under the ‘Social Work’ category.
For the uninitiated, CAG is a platform for collecting unused electronic gadgets and distributing them to the needy people in our society. At this outset, I would like to thank all the contributors and supporters for our initiatives to get going. We are also thankful especially to @impigertech for supporting CAG by contributing to our cause via their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
This recognition couldn’t have been more relevant as @womens_league_foundation , a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering women and children with tools, capital and support to lead businesses that create a sustainable livelihood while our CAG initiatives support via digital infrastructure enablement.
The WLF Glass Ceiling Awards is their marquee event to appreciate and award women who have had a positive impact in different fields. As a token of appreciation for creating a significant impact on several women and children to achieve their goals, we were awarded under the category ‘Social Work’.
Moments like these are when we realise how huge the impact is on so many lives and boosts our motivation to continue doing what we do at CAG better. Happy to finally see the consistent hard work and effort paying off. A huge thanks to @divya_swapna_raj , founder of WLF, for making it happen and congrats on the impact you have made through the project.
